Our services

Preventative Care

Wellness Exam

We recommend a wellness exam every 6 months because pets can often conceal their illness, and by the time they exhibit symptoms it is beyond the reach of medical management.

Vaccination

Proper vaccination is an important part of preventative health care. Though booster vaccinations are recommended to maintain effective immunity levels, our centers have tailor-made protocols for individual pets based on their lifestyles.

Emergency Care

Our facilities are well equipped to handle emergency situations from congestive heart failure, hit by car, gastric dilatation and volvulus (GDV), and poisoning. Although Animal Care Centers are not 24-hour facilities, most of our clients are able to reach our staff during off hours. A staff member is always available on call.

Diagnostics

Animal Care Centers are fully equipped with the latest diagnostic tools including digital X-Ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, electrocardiogram and laser therapy. While our staff is trained to perform in-house pathological diagnostics, we also use Antech Diagnostics for more complex needs.

Dentistry

Oral hygiene is a crucial part of maintaining a long and healthy life for your pet. If your pet has foul breath or dark material around the base of their teeth, they are most likely suffering from periodontal disease. Infections of the teeth and gums can lead to severe mouth pain and tooth loss. If infections are left untreated, they can travel into your pet’s internal organs causing further, more complicated health problems. By doing routine dental procedures, we are able to remove this bacteria-laden buildup. A dental procedure includes scaling away all tartar from the teeth, and polishing and restoring the teeth to maximum health. Home oral care will also be discussed after this procedure so oral hygiene can be maintained. Home oral care can involve anything from brushing or rinsing of the teeth on a daily basis to using dental specific chews that will inhibit bacteria growth in the mouth.

Dermatology

At Animal Care Centers, we evaluate pets for all types of skin, ear canal, hair and nail disorders. There could be plenty of reasons resulting in skin, ear, hair, and nail conditions. Allergies are very common in pets, and can flare up during different times of the year. Additionally, parasitic conditions, autoimmune conditions, and endocrine diseases also cause skin issues that should be distinguished from the simple skin disease and infectious conditions of skin.

Surgery

Our veterinarians perform a wide variety of procedures ranging from simple lacerations, spay and neuter, gastrointestinal surgeries, eye, ENT, and orthopedics.
